In May of 2004, the MCCLA opened a new door in the community, by creating the video contest and festival: Video Fest, open to Latino artists world-wide and to non-Latino artists who focus on Latino themes or live in Latino Communities. Video Fest includes less usual genres, such as short fiction, experimental, video art, short documentary, youth producers and video del barrio.
